Andrea Robinson is an artist, writer and printmaker.

Originally trained in fashion design, she has worked as a designer and illustrator and has created community art projects and digital works.  She uses screenprinting, photography, artist books, mixed and multi-media pieces and installation to tell personal stories - themes that are woven into the complex story-piece Portrait of my father as a bird.

In 2010 she was selected as one of Ladyfest Artzine’s emerging artists as part of the international arts and music festival’s 10th anniversary celebrations.  She was a co-designer and co-maker for Lyn Atelier & Tilt’s collaborative project to create a Festival Village at the South Bank Centre, and a participant in These Associations by Tino Sehgal, the 13th Tate Turbine Hall Commission at Tate Modern, part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.  She is a member and co-founder of Putney-based printmakers The Friday Group and a member of the Printmakers Council and Sprout Arts.
